The small anti-submarine ships Yunga and Snezhnogorsk, as well as the small missile ship Rassvet, part of the Kola Flotilla, will practice joint maneuvering and other combat training tasks under varying operational conditions, the Defense Ministry press service reported.
In designated maritime areas, Kola Flotilla personnel will coordinate with crews of anti-submarine aircraft and helicopters from the Northern Fleet Joint Aviation Corps. The ships will also conduct drills to counter threats posed by unmanned aerial systems.
During the final stage, the naval groups will carry out combat training exercises, including anti-aircraft and artillery fire against aerial targets, as well as artillery engagements against sea and coastal targets.
