A new crab fisher commissioned for service in the Primorye Territory

A new fishing vessel, The Bukhta Natalyi, has passed the trials and received the relevant documents from the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. Now she is ready to sail to the Sea of Okhotsk for crab fishery, as reported by the Press Service of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic.
Based on the Сса5712LS project, the crab fisher is 57.7 meters long and 12.6 meters wide with 5.7 meters in draft. She is powered by a 1,620 kW engine and can make 12.6 knots per hour.
The vessel is designed to catch crabs with traps and transport live catch in bulk tanks filled with overboard water. Her overall capacity makes it possible to carry as much as 90 tons of living crabs. She has a crew of 24 responsible for both the vessel and fishing equipment.
