It is suggested that data centers be established at mineral deposits which are being intensively developed on the territory of the Nadym-Pur-Tazovsky District, as per the press service of the regional government.In his annual state of the region report, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area Governor Dmitry Artyukhov instructed the government to draft a program for creating a chain of parks for refining low-head gas; these parks will accommodate the proposed data centers.Due to growing demand for data storage services and the region’s resource potential, Yamal can attract investors for implementing projects in the sphere of digital infrastructure, and it can also ensure the region’s technological development.
