Infrastructure and municipal projects are developing successfully in the Far East and the Arctic, Deputy Director of the Investment Department at the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation Nikolai Matsarsky, noted during the 11th International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Far East and the Arctic: Sustainable Development.”

“Ambitious large-scale aspects include master plans for 25 cities of the region. The long-term comprehensive plan stipulates construction of over 1,000 facilities, and over 200 have already been completed. The social infrastructure, including schools, kindergartens, hospitals and outpatient clinics, is being actively constructed,” he noted.

According to Nikolai Matsarsky, all of the above-mentioned projects help create a modern urban environment in the Arctic and the Far East, and they also help attract new residents and investors into the regions.
