Over 1,000 projects to be implemented in the Far East before 2030, Basansky

The total project allocations will amount to 3.6 trillion rubles, Deputy Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic Anton Basansky told the 11th International Scientific and Practical Conference “The Russian Far East and the Arctic: Sustainable Development.”
“As of today, the program caters to four million people in the Far Eastern Federal District, with about 3.6 trillion rubles to be invested under master plans. This will work a qualitative change in the Russian Far East,” he said, adding that over 300 facilities were at the construction stage, 456 at the planning stage, and over 500 at the designing and pre-planning stage.
