11th International Scientific and Practical Conference Far East and Arctic: Sustained Development

Moscow to host the 11th International Scientific and Practical Conference Far East and Arctic: Sustained Development on March 11-12. The event participants will review key issues regarding the sustainable development of Far Eastern and Arctic regions.
The main issues include:
- —the transformation of the Northern Sea Route into the Trans-Arctic Transport Corridor, the development of the transport infrastructure;
- —energy as a guarantee of the sustained development of the Far East and the Arctic;
- —telecommunications support, the introduction of digital and AI technologies;
- —advanced technological, design and engineering solutions for Far Eastern and Arctic regions, the introduction of domestic innovations;
- —construction projects, implementing master plans for the development of core communities in Russia’s Far East and Arctic Zone;
- —the development of the mineral deposits’ complex, strategic long-term prospects of the oil and gas mining sectors;
- —the development of education, healthcare and tourism.
The conference will feature two plenary sessions regarding the development of Russia’s northeastern framework (investment, logistics and living standards) and the sustainable development of the Russian Federation’s Far Eastern and Arctic regions.
