Amur Region allocates 12.5 million rubles to support young farmers

Twenty-five young professionals are entitled to installation allowances as they take agricultural jobs, press service of the Amur Region’s Government reports.
Payments under the Comprehensive Development of Rural Territories in the Amur Region state program are intended for college graduates willing to work in the countryside. They should sign a contract of employment in their field within three months after graduation. The important thing within the next three months is to submit documents for the allowance to the regional Ministry of Agriculture.
Installation allowances are for young professionals under 35 years of age, who are eager to work at a farm for no less than five years and have permanent residence in the country.
The amount of payment depends on a farm’s location. For example, it will be 400,000 rubles in the southern areas that include the Blagoveshchensk, Ivanovo, Tambov and Mikhailovka municipal districts and the Konstantinovka District.
The sum can reach 600,000 rubles in the Arkharinsky, Belogorsky, Bureysky, Zavitinsky, Romnensky, Seryshevsky and Oktyabrsky municipal districts or in the Svobodnensky District. The biggest allowance – 800,000 rubles – is offered to those willing to take farm jobs in the northern Shimanovsky, Skovorodinsky, Tyndinsky, Zeysky, Magdagachinsky, Mazanovsky, and Selemdzhinsky municipal districts.
Last year, 26 young professionals were issued installation allowances, for which the state allocated 12.4 million rubles.
