According to the Government press service, the decision to add more water area to the Anadyr sea port will promote development of the port, which is functioning at a major section of the Northern Sea Route.In particular, the plans include building of a temporary liquefied natural gas transshipment terminal in Etelkuyim Bay of Kresta Gulf (Kresta Gulf). It means setting up berths within the port water area to accommodate different types of gas carrier vessels.
