The funds will be allocated to improve event tourism, infrastructure and itineraries in the region in 2026, the territory government press service reports. Companies and business people will be eligible for the subsidy based on the results of a competition. Selected participants will receive reimbursement for the costs of creating and upgrading facilities to ensure comfortable and safe travelling along local scenic and cultural routes.A considerable portion of the funds are earmarked for taking measures to raise the region’s attractiveness for tourists. Business initiatives on developing infrastructural facilities and tourist itineraries are also entitled to state support.
