A collection entitled For Teachers of the Eskimo Language will help educators that work to preserve this indigenous dialect, press service of the Chukotka Autonomous Area’s Government reports.Its author is the translator Galina Skhak, who has spent years implementing projects focused on preserving the Eskimo culture. According to Ms Skhak, it was important that the collection keep the snappy ring of the indigenous tongue. The aid is made up of two parts. Part One includes practical materials, such as a vocabulary and texts on topics from everyday life. Part Two contains Kiwagme’s Tales in Russian and Eskimo.
