The team now on duty in Chukotka comprises intensive care anesthesiologists, surgeons, traumatologists, internists, paramedics, nurses and ambulance drivers, according to the FMBA press service. Doctors, jointly with the Russian Emercom units will extend skilled urgent medical aid to the ship crews navigating along the Northern Sea Route.In the second quarter of this year an emergency-rescue center will begin working in Sabetta settlement of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area. Subsequently, similar centers will be opened in Dikson and Khatanga settlements in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and Tiksi settlement in the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
