More than 800 films have been submitted to the nationwide travel competition Far East – Land of Adventure, nearly 1.5 times more than in the previous year. The increase was announced by the project’s initiator, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District, Yury Trutnev.Among the Far Eastern regions, the largest number of video entries came from the Sakhalin Region, the Primorye Territory and Kamchatka. Among Arctic regions, the highest number of submissions featured journeys in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, the Murmansk Region and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area.“The Far East and the Arctic are remarkable regions with unique natural landscapes. More and more Russians are visiting these areas. To encourage further growth in tourism, we launched the special competition Far East – Land of Adventure. Each year, the competition continues to gain popularity, with an increasing number of travel films submitted for jury review,” Yury Trutnev said.The competition’s grand prize is 3 million rubles. All submitted videos, regardless of the outcome, will be added to the interactive travel map on the project’s official website.The awards ceremony for the third season of the competition is scheduled for March 2026.
