Starting January 2026, local families will be compensated for 30 percent of regional standard housing and utility fees at the birth of a second child, press service of the Kamchatka Territory’s Government reports.“This support measure shall be effective until the child is three years old. It is to bolster up families with a second child and families with many children,” Deputy Prime Minister Viktoria Sivak said.The compensations also cover 30 percent of housing overhaul fees. In addition, the new benefit reimburses part of the cost of fuel and fuel deliveries to families living in houses that lack a central heating system.
