The Cabinet of Ministers will report to Vladimir Putin on the development of hard-to-recover hydrocarbon reserves in the region located in the central and north-eastern parts of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area by August 1, 2026. The corresponding instruction was issued following the Russian Energy Week Forum.“The Russian Government, together with the executive authorities of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area shall ensure the provision of incentives for the development of hard-to-recover reserves in the Nadym–Pur–Taz region. The report shall be submitted by August 1, 2026 and subsequently every six months,” the document states.

“The Russian Government, together with the executive authorities of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area shall ensure the provision of incentives for the development of hard-to-recover reserves in the Nadym–Pur–Taz region. The report shall be submitted by August 1, 2026 and subsequently every six months,” the document states.
