Primorye Territory to receive additional RUB 9.7 billion in 2026
The territory has amended its regional budget for 2026 and the 2027-2028 planning period after securing additional federal funding and obtaining targeted treasury infrastructure loans, the Primorye Territory government’s press service said in a statement.
The region’s budget revenue is expected to total 255.8 billion rubles, while the amount provided as part of targeted federal funding has been increased by 9.7 billion rubles for the Primorye Territory. This includes a 7.9 billion-ruble grant to the Ministry of Professional Education and Employment, including for creating the Russky Innovation Center for Science and Technology, as well as 12 cutting-edge workshops in local vocational training schools.
The Ministry of Tourism will receive an additional 997.4 million rubles for building and operating the Solnechny family resort.
Another 654.3 million rubles has been earmarked for the Ministry of Housing and Utilities, including for building a water intake facility for the all-year seaside resort in the Khasansky municipal district and upgrading water treatment and sewage facilities on Russky Island.
The Ministry of Transport and Roads will receive 570.4 million rubles. Among other things, these funds will go towards building the Vladivostok-Nakhodka-Vostochny Port motorway, expanding and upgrading roads, as well as developing transport infrastructure in rural territories.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Policy will get 252.8 million rubles. Part of this funding will be used to support families with children and create a system for offering long-term care to elderly people and people with disabilities.
The Ministry of Construction will be entitled to an additional sum of 188.2 million rubles to cover expenses, among other things, on building kindergartens in Ussuriysk.
The government allocated 190.4 million rubles to the Ministry of Industry and Trade for supporting manufacturers of technology-driven goods.
The Ministry of Agriculture is slated to receive 28.6 million rubles to support small agricultural producers.
There will be also a 36.6-million-ruble grant for the Ministry of Healthcare, including for buying equipment for medical rehabilitation, examining newborns, equipping medical centers, treating patients suffering from carbohydrate metabolism disorder and Type II diabetes.
The Inspection for Protecting Cultural Heritage Sites will receive an additional sum of 4.3 million rubles for preserving military burial sites.
Additional funding for the Ministry of Culture and Archives amounts to 1 million rubles, which will go towards developing and improving cultural centers in smaller communities.
The ministry in charge of forestry, environment protection, fauna and natural resources will get an additional 16 million rubles for forest recovery, creating and developing seed farming in the forestry sector and nurseries.
Disbursements from the treasury infrastructure loan will be used to fund energy facilities, expand the gas distribution network and provide affordable housing and quality utilities services to people living in this region.
