Representatives of indigenous small-numbered ethnic groups in Yugra will be reimbursed for medication purchases and funeral expenses, according to the press service of the Government of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Yugra.“These measures meet the requests of representatives of indigenous small-numbered ethnic groups,” the region’s Governor Ruslan Kukharuk said.Medication purchase compensations will total actual expenses, but not more than 5,000 rubles. Representatives of small indigenous ethnic groups living in areas of traditional economic activity can apply for compensations once a year.Compensations for funeral expenses will total 20,000 rubles, payable to one member of the deceased’s person’s family.There are also plans to index subsidies for the purchase of children’s clothing (by one of the parents) by 19,6 percent. These subsidies will be provided once a year, totaling actual expenses but not more than 8,914 rubles for every preschooler and not more than 9,538 rubles for every school pupil.
