Eleven regions, including the republics of Buryatia, Karelia and Komi, the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, the Trans-Baikal and Krasnoyarsk territories, as well as the Arkhangelsk Region, will obtain subventions worth 3 billion rubles, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin told participants in a Government meeting.According to Mikhail Mishustin, operations to put out forest fires required additional funding, including that from regional budgets.“The funding will make it possible to compensate for the expenses incurred,” he said.
