The Federal Government will allocate funds to constituent entities with a high share of social spending, including the Trans-Baikal Territory, to compensate part of their outlays, the TBT official website says.Among other things, the federal funds will ensure the payment of salaries to public-sector employees in January and February 2026 with account taken of the recent official increase in minimum monthly pay (MMP). Next year, the MMP will amount to 27,093 rubles.According to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, this decision guarantees the meeting of all social commitments and helps to achieve the national development goals set by the President. It is noted that the draft regional budget for 2026 has set aside almost 9 billion rubles for public-sector salaries in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
