The funds will be used to subsidize spending on public utilities, waste disposal, and city infrastructure overhauls, Primorye Territory Governor Oleg Kozhemyako reports.“Next year, almost 26 billion rubles will be set aside for the housing and public utilities sector and the power industry, including 16.5 billion for compensating tariff differential and for fuel cheapening, 2.8 billion for waste disposal, and 6.6 billion for developing the territory’s housing and public utilities infrastructure, of which 1.9 billion is to be spent on providing urban amenities, and 476 million – on carrying out housing overhauls,” he specified.He added that about 4 billion rubles will be used to revamp or overhaul water disposal facilities, as well as water and heat supply systems.
