The Gosuslugi (public services) platform has launched a special page with information about regional support measures for small indigenous peoples of the North, reads a press release of the Government of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area.The users will have access to information about applying for child benefits, allocations for building a chum (a traditional conical tent-like house), education, clothing and footwear purchase certificates, monthly benefits, free prosthetic dentistry, and many other services.“Over 70% of applications for services to small indigenous peoples of the North are submitted online, which is proof of high demand for digital services among Yamal nomads. The new page [on the public services platform] offers quick access to these services, information about the documents needed to receive services and where to receive them,” said Maria Kalinina, head of the e-government section at the Information and Communications Technology Department of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area.The page also offers free legal advice, answers to frequently asked questions, and a direct link to the site of the regional department for small indigenous peoples of the North.A page on archival documents, which is scheduled to open by the end of the year, will provide access to all public services in this sphere, the press release says.
