An online service titled Bear Patrol: Map of Events has taken off the ground in the Arctic regions to warn local residents about the coming of polar bears or brown bears.
Residents can also send reports about animals turning up in the vicinity of populated localities via feedback mechanism for specialists to process the news and send it out to subscribers through a bot.
The service can be accessed by following the link. To be able to send messages, you must register on the website. The platform also offers instructions on how to behave during an encounter with a bear.
The service is free and available in all Arctic populated localities.
