Russia is open to engaging in the Arctic in a pragmatic manner with anyone who is prepared for an equitable and respectful dialogue, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in his message of greetings to the participants in the Arctic – Regions Forum.“A major Arctic power, Russia is invariably in favor of maintaining peace and stability in the North. For these purposes, it remains open to working in a pragmatic manner with anyone ready for an equitable and respectful dialogue,” he noted.The minister went on to say that the Foreign Ministry will help promote constructive international and inter-regional cooperation in the interests of people living in the Polar Regions.
