Murmansk Region to launch new phase of the Own Home in Arctic program on March 2

The program is to receive 200 million rubles from the regional budget, as per the press service of the Murmansk regional government.

According to regional governor Andrey Chibis, program participants can be reimbursed for 30 percent of housing costs, but not more than one million rubles. It is also possible to simultaneously use the Arctic Mortgage program carrying two percent annual interest or family mortgages, at six percent interest.

Launched in 2022, the Own Home in Arctic program ranks among the most popular support measures.

“We can see a private housing construction boom in the region. As of today, 1,640 certificates worth two billion rubles have been issued, and 1,300 homes have been built,” Chibis noted.
