More than 57 billion rubles are earmarked for mandatory medical insurance in the Khabarovsk Territory
The total budget of the program on improving the quality and length of life in the region will make up 57.23 billion rubles, which is 4.36 billion rubles more than last year, the Khabarovsk Territory Government press service reports.
A total of 117 medical institutions will be involved in rendering free aid in the entire region to raise the availability of services for residents of remote areas.
“The Program 2026 implies increased financing, new types of high-technology aid, expanded medical checkup and an emphasis on prevention. We are systemically working to ensure that the residents of the region not only live longer, but also remain active and healthy,” the regional Healthcare Ministry stated.
The program includes the plans to transform health centers into centers for healthy longevity medicine, where people can undergo a comprehensive examination and receive personal advice.
The program of medical checkup will also be expanded. Women aged 21-49, can now get an early diagnosis of cervical cancer risks free of charge every five years. Identification of the likelihood of cardiovascular diseases will be enhanced for all residents of the region.
Special attention will be given to the family support: the number of in vitro fertilization procedures under the mandatory medical insurance policy will be increased, and the genetic study of the embryo will be included in the IVF program. Neonatal screening will be expanded for newborns, which will allow the doctors to detect two severe hereditary diseases at an early stage.
Innovations will also concern the high-technology aid available under the mandatory medical insurance policy. The list of accessible services will be extended by including 15 new methods.
In addition, there are plans to adopt new digital techniques, including remote follow-up monitoring of patients suffering arterial hypertension and diabetes mellitus, as well as development of telemedicine consultations.
