Murmansk Region approves the strategy of developing air medical service until 2030
The strategy has been devised for developing an ambulance system using the air medical service. The strategy implies making over 160 flights annually, the regional Government press service reports.
Over the recent five years the service has made about 1,000 flights to hard-to-reach areas for consulting local specialists and evacuating patients. In 2025, the air medical service evacuated 708 people, of which 225 were children carried for rendering specialized aid.
The service has up-to-date monitoring systems and latest life support devices that ensure the patient’s safety and continuous monitoring on the way.
