Eleven Far Eastern and Arctic regions to get over 5.1 billion rubles for upgrading heating systems
The funding will be used to purchase Russian-made heat supply systems for private homes in the Republic of Buryatia and the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), the Trans-Baikal, Kamchatka, Primorye, Khabarovsk and Krasnoyarsk territories, the Amur and Magadan regions, the Jewish Autonomous Region and the Chukotka Autonomous Area, as per the Government’s press service.
Under the modernization program, there are plans to purchase and install solid-fuel boilers with an efficiency of least 84 percent, as well as modern in-house heating systems.
Privileged categories of citizens, including Great Patriotic War veterans and disabled veterans of the Great Patriotic War , veterans of combat operations and service personnel disabled during hostilities, including participants in the special military operation, large families and low-income citizens.
In all, 5.7 billion rubles will be spent on purchasing heating systems in 2027 and the same amount in 2028. Overall expenditures are estimated at over 16.5 billion rubles.
