The creative event is organized by the Murmansk Region’s Makhayeva Library for Children and Teenagers. The contestants should submit their hand-written texts about the Murmansk Region, the Arctic and the culture and traditions of indigenous Northern nations to the jury.

Preschoolers aged five years and more, school pupils, students of primary, secondary and higher professional education institutions (up to 21 years), families, members of creative associations, hobby groups, studios, patrons of libraries, authors’ teams, creativity centers for children, artistic schools for children and other organizations for children are invited to take part. 

The contestants should fill out a form on the library’s website until February 20, 2026.
