Member of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Rosa Cheremis said at the 15th Arctic: Present and Future international forum that 123 investment projects intended to develop the infrastructure of the Arctic tourism are being implemented in the Russian Arctic.  

More than 2,000 new jobs are supposed to be created in this sector in the near three years, she added.

“Even the Far East cannot boast such dynamics now. To date, the aggregate investments amount is 39.3 billion rubles. This is a significant figure really showing the unswervingly increasing dynamics,” she concluded.
