President orders incentives to develop hard-to-recover hydrocarbon reserves in Nadym-Pur-Taz region
The Cabinet of Ministers will report to Vladimir Putin on the development of hard-to-recover hydrocarbon reserves in the region located in the central and north-eastern parts of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area by August 1, 2026. The corresponding instruction was issued following the Russian Energy Week Forum.
“The Russian Government, together with the executive authorities of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area shall ensure the provision of incentives for the development of hard-to-recover reserves in the Nadym–Pur–Taz region. The report shall be submitted by August 1, 2026 and subsequently every six months,” the document states.
