This support measure may be granted to students referred to indigenous small –numbered peoples of the North registered in Taimyr, Evenkia, Turukhansk, Yeniseysk, North-Yeniseysk and Bogotolsky municipal districts. Applications are accepted until April 1, according to the press service of Krasnoyarsk Territory ‘s Agency for the Development of Northern Territories and Support for Indigenous Small -Numbered Peoples.

Students studying beyond their municipalities in universities and specialized secondary schools for the first time may be given extra scholarship.

“The students, who already received extra scholarship last term and continue their education will go on receiving it automatically. No new applications or certificates are required from them,” added head of the territorial Agency for the Development of Northern Territories and Support for Support for Indigenous Small -Numbered Peoples Anton Narchuganov.

In addition to the extra scholarship, students referred to small indigenous small-numbered peoples of the North are entitled to reimbursement of their travel costs and part of their tuition fees.
