Ministry of Labor of the Sakha Republic allocates over 5 billion rubles to support families with children in 2025
The region is home to 34,487 large families raising 116,968 children, representing one-fifth of all large families in the Far Eastern Federal District. Over the past five years, their number has grown by 15 percent. This year, more than 22,000 such families are receiving various forms of social support, according to the press service of the government of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia).
“Taking into account federal budget allocations, the total amount of funding for state support measures for families with children through the Ministry of Labor and Social Development of this republic in 2025 exceeds 5 billion rubles,” said Yelena Teplyakova, the region’s Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Development.
State policy in the sphere of family and childhood support includes one-time, annual, and monthly payments; support measures in education, healthcare, and employment; as well as housing assistance and benefits for large and young families, the press service added.
