Eighth Far Eastern Star Prize social-business competition kicks off
This year’s competition for the Far Eastern Star Prize features over 150 projects, nominated by the Ministry for the Development of the Far East and Arctic, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, Far Eastern regions and public organizations, according to the Government’s press service.
“Our task is to motivate those contributing to the development of the Far East and the Russian Arctic and improving the life of Far Eastern and Northern residents. This includes investment projects and public initiatives,” Deputy Prime Minister – Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy in the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev noted.
According to the press service, representatives of all Far Eastern and Arctic territories, including investors, public activists, volunteers, students, journalists and bloggers, can take part in the Far Eastern Star Prize competition.
