French companies have approached Russia regarding the possibility of container transportation via the Northern Sea Route. This was announced by Russian Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Arctic Alexei Chekunkov during an interview on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

“We are receiving signals from major Western European logistics firms, including French companies, expressing interest in container transport along the Northern Sea Route,” the minister said.
