Yakutia to add 810 apartments to subsidized rental program in 2026

A new initiative will expand access to subsidized rental housing across four cities in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia): Yakutsk (283 apartments), Aldan (117), Neryungri (252), and Mirny (158), according to the region’s official information portal.

The program is designed to develop the local rental market, with a focus on attracting and retaining skilled professionals essential for the development of the Far East.

Under the program, the total subsidized rental housing stock for Yakutia will be capped at 1,003 apartments. The final monthly rent for tenants currently averages about 12,000 rubles for a two-room flat.
