During 2026, four local power generation facilities are scheduled to be commissioned in the Kobyaisky, Ust-Yansky, Khangalassky, and Oymyakonsky districts of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). According to the republic’s official website, these projects will enhance the reliability of electricity supply and significantly reduce dependence on imported diesel fuel.

The flagship initiative is the launch of the second stage of an automated hybrid power complex in the village of Sangar, Kobyaisky District. This project envisages for the construction of a solar power plant with an installed capacity of 1 MW, which will complement the 5.65 MW diesel power plant commissioned during the first stage of the project.

In addition, automated hybrid power complexes are set to launch in 2026 in the village of Ust-Kuyga (Ust-Yansky District), Sinsk (Khangalassky District), and Kuydusun (Oymyakonsky District).
