Construction of a megascience facility, the Shared Research Facility Siberian Circular Photon Source, also known as SKIF, is currently nearing completion in the Koltsovo science city, Novosibirsk Region.

“There were some delays related to sanctions, but we managed to finish this work. This is great,” the Russian leader said during the direct line.

The president also added that similar facilities are planned for Vladivostok and other cities, in parallel with SKIF in Novosibirsk.
