Primorye Territory to allocate over 1.2 billion rubles for industrial development

The government of Primorye Territory has announced a new industrial development plan, which provides for increasing annual output by at least 10 percent and creating 5,000 new jobs by 2030. Companies will have access to research subsidies and preferential loans worth at least 300 million rubles annually, the regional government’s press service said in a statement.

“The industrial development program follows an integrated approach by encompassing financial tools, infrastructure upgrades, and efforts to develop human capital.  Enterprises in the region will be able to benefit from a stable environment and growth opportunities,” Andrei Blokhin, Minister of Economic Development for Primorye Territory, said.

A key focus of the program will be advancing high-technology sectors and making UAVs. For that, a dedicated Primorye Territory Center for Unmanned Systems will be established.

The program’s projected outcomes include an annual increase in industrial sector wages of at least 6 percent by 2030, alongside an 85 percent rise in the public procurement of locally manufactured UAVs.

Scheduled to take effect on January 1, 2026, the program will run through 2030.
