Krasnoyarsk Territory’s power grid to receive almost RUB 70 billion in development funding

The Ministry of Tariffs Policy for the Krasnoyarsk Territory signed a regulatory agreement with Krasnoyarskenergo, a Rosseti Siberia subsidiary. The document provides for an investment of about 70 billion rubles in Krasnoyarsk Territory’s power grid between 2026 and 2035, the press service of the regional government said in a statement.

According to the regional Minister of Tariffs Policy Alexander Ananyev, this agreement will make tariff regulations more transparent and effective, while also improving the reliability of the energy system and the quality of power supply for households.

These funds will go towards upgrading and renovating the power grid, modernizing electrical substations of various voltage types, and building new energy facilities. The agreement also sets forth provisions for preventing the accumulation of unfulfilled entitlements for subsidized consumers who need to obtain a connection to the power grid.
