Arctic infrastructure to get no less than 10 billion rubles
President of Russia Vladimir Putin instructed the Russian government to annually allocate no less than 10 billion rubles for infrastructure in the Arctic settlements where military units are stationed.
The list of instructions based on the results of the Russian president's working trip to Murmansk on March 27 is published on the Kremlin website.
“... Provide for extending to 2030 the implementation of the action plan for the development of public utilities, energy and social services infrastructure for closed administrative and territorial entities and settlements in the Arctic zone where military units are stationed, with annual funding of no less than ten billion rubles,” reads the report.
