Government allocates extra funds to support Far Eastern and Arctic Mortgage program

The Government will allocate an additional 100.4 billion rubles to subsidize reduced-rate mortgage programs, the Government Press Service reports.

Out of the total sum, 53.4 billion rubles will be earmarked for the Family Mortgage program, which maintains a six percent interest rate for families with children.  Another 9.6 billion rubles is designated for the Far Eastern and Arctic Mortgage program, offering a two percent interest rate. 

An extra 37.4 billion rubles will be allocated to subsidize the interest rate on loans issued under the Preferential Mortgage program, which expired on July 1, 2024.
