The Amur Region to allocate 440 million rubles in 2026 to support families with children
The funds will be directed toward supporting families with first and second child, marking a threefold increase compared to the current year. This support is provided under the Family national project, according to the Amur Region government press service.
In addition, the region operates a regional maternity capital program for families welcoming a second child, with payments exceeding 273,000 rubles.
“Next year, monthly childbirth and childcare benefits will continue to be paid. A total of 2.8 billion rubles has been allocated for this purpose in the regional budget, which has already been adopted by the Legislative Assembly in two readings,” said Alexander Sarapkin, a deputy of the Amur Regional Parliament.
In 2025, 1,917 young families received a one-time payment of 37,906 rubles for the birth of their first child.
