All public sector employees, other than regional agencies and municipal administration staff, are eligible to supplementary lumpsum payments, according to the region Governor Andrei Chibis.

“We support the public sector employees as soon as practicable. We will allocate 3 billion rubles for this purpose,” he said.

As per the Governor’s order, Murmansk Region teachers are to receive not less than 40,000 rubles after tax, junior tutors – not less than 20,000.

Minimal lumpsum payments to the doctors should be 100,000 rubles, 30,000 to the nurses and 15,000 rubles to the paramedical personnel.

Social workers and culture professionals as well as firefighters, emergency response personnel and ambulance drivers should be paid at least 40,000 rubles by the New Year.
