Over 4,500 residents of Yakutia to be relocated from dilapidated housing by year end
According to Head of the Republic’s Housing Construction Directorate Vladimir Tregubov, 4,600 residents of Yakutia will relocate from dilapidated housing under the relevant program by the end of the year.
Seventeen apartment houses with the total area of about 40,000 square meters were commissioned in Yakutia in 2025. Plans are to settle the residents of almost 85,000 square meters of dilapidated housing in new apartments by the end of December.
Tregubov said that most of the relocated dwellers prefer newly built housing. Meanwhile, they can also choose a new apartment in the secondary housing market or a monetary compensation.
