Scientists from the Institute of the North and the Arctic have teamed up with members of the Faculty of Cultural Studies and Art Criticism at Siberian Federal University to compile an educational course of the Evenki language and culture, according to the press service of the Krasnoyarsk Territory’s Agency for the Development of Northern Areas.

The Evenk Language and Culture online course includes 18 modules; some of them deal with the Evenki language’s phonetics, lexicology, grammar and morphology, teaching methods and the history of studying this language. Students will also gain an insight into the Evenk nation’s history, world outlook, religion, literature, music and applied-decorative art, as well as the specifics of their economy and cuisine.
