Large families can now choose between lump-sum cash payments and land certificates allowing them to purchase private land plots that can serve as homesteads or gardens, according to the Murmansk Region’s Ministry of Construction. These land plots for other purposes or to build private homes.Those wishing to obtain land certificates worth 500,000 rubles each should contact local municipalities. After obtaining the certificates, they will be able to choose a land plot for building a house or a dacha. Cash-strapped municipalities will, nevertheless, register the relevant applications, and the money will be transferred to recipients next year.From July 1, 2025, large families are entitled to more substantial payments up to 500,000 rubles instead of a land plot.
