The VEB.RF State Corporation will help build over 10 passenger terminals at airports across Russia, including the Arctic and the Far East, Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin noted, while delivering the Government performance report at the State Duma.According to him, Russia actively upgrades airports; modern terminals have opened in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Khabarovsk, Murmansk and other cities.It is important that construction of all facilities has been financed by commercial investment, without using budgetary funding, the Prime Minister noted.He added that the public-private partnership model also covered aerodromes reconstruction projects. The first concession agreement has been signed, and almost 30 other similar initiatives are currently being examined.
