Repair works completed on access road to Teriberka in Murmansk Region
Workers reconstructed a section of this route between the 10th and 20th km and overhauled another stretch between the 20th and 35th km, according to the press service of the regional government.
Following the reconstruction project, road builders reinforced slopes and side ditches, installed local purification systems and improved parking pockets to accommodate motorists. They also installed new roads signs, barriers and fences and painted fresh road markings.
Local residents and tourists can now reach Teriberka from Murmansk more quickly. The upgraded access route will make the village more popular with tourists and will spur the socio-economic development of the Kola Peninsula, part of the Russian Arctic.
