Another 5 regions in the Far Eastern Federal District and the Arctic covered by the territorial planning scheme for the power industry

Added to the revamped scheme are one region in the Russian Far East, namely the Amur Region, and four regions – the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Murmansk Region, the Komi Republic, and the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area – in the Arctic, the press service of the Russian government reports.

According to the document, power substations are to be built or overhauled in the Amur and Murmansk regions.

Additional power transmission lines are being planned for the Komi Republic, the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area, and the Amur and Murmansk regions.

It is also planned to build wind power plants in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Amur Region.
