Government approves comprehensive development plans of Krasnoyarsk Arctic through 2035
The initiative covers the Norilsk–Dudinka agglomeration and the settlement of Dikson, the Krasnoyarsk Territory press service reported.
A total of 33.2 billion rubles and 34.3 billion rubles, respectively, will be allocated for their implementation. The funding will be directed toward industrial modernization, upgrading social and utility infrastructure, and improving the well-being and quality of life of residents in the Arctic zone.
Krasnoyarsk Territory Governor Mikhail Kotyukov noted that the long-term development plans for backbone Arctic settlements were prepared with active input from local residents.
“Thanks to this, the Arctic territories development program is becoming not only strategically significant for industry and infrastructure, but also genuinely focused on improving the comfort and quality of life of northerners,” he emphasized.
