The funds will be transferred to the Federal Agency for Sea and Inland Water Transport to increase sea and river transportation and develop Arctic routes, the Government press services reports.

The allocated funds are to be applied to build a seagoing ferry for regular passenger service between Far Eastern ports as well as for building service and ice breaking emergency evacuation vessels that are required to maintain transportation along the Northern Sea Route, said Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
